Eleanor Vail is a polymath professional.  She is a realtor and attorney with four decades of experience in commercial real estate office space leasing and sales, appraisal, and real estate law.  Eleanor started her career in 1984 with the topflight real estate firm of Cross and Brown Company.

Her expertise in real estate law enhances her ability to serve her tenant customers.  She has bar admissions in New York State, Connecticut, Federal District Court (Southern District of New York), Federal District Court (Eastern District of New York), and the Supreme Court of the United States.

In addition to her legal expertise, Eleanor Vail is a real estate appraiser who brings to real estate transactions an unusual degree of acumen for analyzing financially complex real estate problems.  Her appraisal experience has made her particularly sensitive to the monetary value of an office space’s material and non-material attributes. 

Eleanor Vail is a graduate of Vassar College and New York Law School.  She is a member of the New York Women’s Bar, a founder of Real Estate Women of New York, and a past board member of the International YMCA.  New York Magazine named her in 2010 as one of the 100 Top Women Lawyers.  

In her spare time, Eleanor swims, skis, and plays classical piano.  She has for many years enjoyed travel in Portugal and Spain.
